The Paddington Trio are coming on Sunday 10^th November to perform three piano trios – by Haydn, Mendelssohn and Schubert.  They are a young trio who all came to College in London via Paddington Station – hence their name.  None of them are from darkest Peru – actually from Finland, America and Ireland – but they have made London their home.  I don’t know if they have a partiality for marmalade sandwiches.  They have been described as one of most exciting chamber ensembles of their generation and since winning a raft of prizes, they have been in much demand here and on the international stage.  We are thrilled to have them coming to North Devon and it would be nice to see you at the concert.  It starts at 5pm and will be finished by 7 so not too late for a school night!
